In short
- Reading the site needs no account. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
- The salary percentile check runs in your browser. The job, age and pay you type to get your result are not sent to us.
- The salary survey is optional. If you tick the consent box and add your pay, we store your answers without your name, email or IP address.
- We publish survey results only as medians for groups of 20 or more answers, never as single answers.
Salary survey answers

- Purpose: to produce pay statistics by job, experience, employer type and industry that official sources do not publish.
- Basis: your consent, given by ticking the box before you add your pay. You can choose not to take part and still use every free feature.
- Where it is kept: a private storage area with our hosting provider, Vercel, in its Singapore region. Only Foundific can read it.
- How long: up to three years, then deleted or kept only as combined statistics.
- Sharing: we never share or sell single answers. Combined statistics, such as medians for groups of 20 or more, may be published or licensed to others.
Hosting logs
Like any website, our hosting provider keeps short-term technical logs of requests, which can include IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not linked to survey answers.
Your choices
- Withdrawing an answer: answers carry no name or contact details, so we cannot find a single person's answer afterwards. If you want an answer removed, email us the date and time you submitted it and the job you chose, and we will remove matching answers.
- Questions or complaints: email [email protected]. This notice follows Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 and Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.
Changes to this notice
We will update the date at the top when this notice changes, and record changes in the changelog.
