The rules for using Foundific and its data.

In short

  • Reading the site is free and needs no account.
  • The figures come from official sources, named on every page. They describe groups of workers, not what any one person will be paid.
  • Nothing here is financial, legal or career advice. Check important decisions with the employer or a qualified adviser.
  • You may quote our pages with a link back. Do not copy whole pages or collect the site with automated tools.

Salary figures

  • Sources: Singapore figures come from the Ministry of Manpower, the Ministry of Education and SingStat. Malaysian figures come from DOSM, the Public Service Department and the Ministry of Finance. AI exposure scores come from the International Labour Organization. Each page names its tables and reference period. See data sources.
  • Our own figures: percentiles, projections and comparisons are calculated by us from those sources. Each page says how. See how we read the data and how projections work.
  • Accuracy: we check every figure against its source table, but errors can happen and sources are revised. If you find one, email us and we will correct it and record the change in the changelog.
  • No guarantee: the site is provided as it is. We are not responsible for decisions made using it.

Using our content

  • Allowed: quoting figures or short passages with a link to the page they came from; linking to any page; sharing the salary check result.
  • Not allowed without written permission: copying whole pages or tables into another site or product; selling our content; collecting the site with scrapers, bots or other automated tools; framing the site as if it were your own.
  • Official data: the underlying government data stays under its own open-data licence, and you may use it from the original publisher on those terms.

Salary survey

  • Taking part is optional. Only add pay that is your own and true to the best of your knowledge.
  • Use of answers: by adding your pay you allow us to combine it with other answers and publish or license the combined statistics. Single answers are never shown. How answers are stored is set out in the privacy notice.
  • False answers: we may remove answers that look false or automated.

Pages link to government sources, universities and, in future, job ads and courses run by others. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content. Any paid placement will be labelled.

Changes to these terms
